Pumpkins

Last night we had a pumpkin carving party with our neighbors.  It was lots of fun for everyone!  I should have taken a picture but, apparently Aliya really likes raw pumpkin!  I gave her a piece of the one I was carving to play with.  I figured she would stick it in her mouth and then decide to just play with it, oh no.  I looked over at her a few minutes later and she had eaten almost the whole thing! Skin included!  I'm not to worried  about it but I probly should have washed it a bit more. Oh well, enjoy the pics!

The whole group from left to right: Rachel, Lincoln, Luke, Me, Daniel, and Aliya.

Daniel really was having fun, he's just really tired.

Luke was very excited about his "crazy squirrel" Pumpkin!
Rachel and Lincoln (Isn't he cute!)
Aliya LOVES the pumpkins!

The finished product!

Boo!

We've been teaching Aliya animal sounds for a while now, she's had barking down pat for several months now but she recently inherited several books with pictures of lots of different animals.  So, one day I was trying to teach her about the cow, it says "moo". No, not anymore, Aliya has decided the cow says "boo".  So, we went to the grocery store the other night and they have a little eating area where we were sitting where the walls have pictures of barnyard animals painted on them.  Aliya turned around, saw the huge cow on the wall and extatically shouted "Boo, boo boo!!!" for several minutes, it was hilarious!

Fun times

Do you ever look at the pictures on your camera and think WOW I thought I took way more pictures than that!!! Well, here are a few random fun pictures that I thought I had more of.

We went to a pumpkin farm with Shanetta's family which was a total blast, I highly reccomend this place to anyone with access.  This was taken on the hay ride! Ya we actually went on a hay ride! (yes I'm from Idaho and yes this was a first for me.)
